How you can help Evan in Oxford West & Abingdon

After the very close result in the May 2010 General Election, Evan and the team are re-doubling their efforts across the constituency.

We are regularly delivering leaflets, calling on residents on the doorstep and by phone and campaigning on local issues. We are also organising a series of Action Days for people who can travel to the seat at weekends.

So whether you live locally, or further afield, there is lots you can get involved in to help Evan regain his seat and get back to Parliament. We're also looking for donations to fund the fight - there's a PayPal link at the bottom of the page.

Please email the campaign manager, Neil Fawcett on campaignmanager@oxwablibdems.org.uk, with your name, address, phone number, so you're added to our list of supporters.

We'll let you know about specific plans, but it'd be great if you could indicate which of the following you'd be willing to help with:

  • Putting up a poster on a stick in your garden at election time

  • Doing clerical work (envelope writing/stuffing) at home

  • Doing clerical work (envelope writing/stuffing) in the Campaign HQ

  • Attending social/fund-raising events

  • Doing delivery wherever it is needed

  • Attending Action Days (we can arrange transport)

  • Making phone-calls

  • Online activism

The Conservatives successfully poured money into the constituency. Your contribution can help make turn it into a fair fight - and you can be sure that every penny will be well-spent on helping to re-elect Dr Evan Harris.
